Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the United States is an actress, comedian, and activist. Her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and started her acting career as a young person just after moving to the United States. Her most well-known work is her appearances on AT&T commercials on TV. In these commercials, she was Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020). She was a regular host on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction show Other Space (2015). She also had the role of a regular character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. After being featured in the TV pilot that was never aired for New Warriors, Vayntrub also voices Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was Jewish, born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents, who were two years old, immigrated to America as refugees from antisemitism. They moved to West Hollywood. Due to financial difficulties within the family, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials when she was just five years old. Vayntrub briefly was a student at Beverly Hills High School. However, she quit school following her sophomore year. She was able to get a GED and later went on to get a Bachelor of Arts (Communication) from the University of California San Diego. Through the Upright Citizens Brigade she studied Improv comedy.
