Anna Silk was born at St. Thomas University in Fredericton in New Brunswick, Canada. She is the daughter of Peter Silk - an academic as well as Ilkay Silk, an accomplished actress as well as a writer, director, and producer. Anna was born in Fredericton. She is the child of Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" that is originally from Britain.
