She worked for The Keith Olbermann Evening News as an anchor reporter. Flanagan was a reporter with ESPN between 2000-2006. She was a college football reporter on the ESPN sideslines starting in 2000 through 2006. She reported on for the College World Series as well as the Women's Tour Championships of the Tennis Association, Men's College Basketball and NCAA Women's competition. Flanagan reported on Lakers Dodgers Angels UCLA USC Chargers and Dodgers for a SportsCenter journalist. She also covered the NCAA men's basketball tournament as well as college football bowls and the spring training of the NBA.
